Aaliyah Hassan is the brains, beauty, and hands behind @Hairbyqueenaaliy. Aaliyah’s passion for hairstyling grew out of a joy for braiding hair from a young age. She has been working as a hairstylist since completing the Cosmetology program at Barstow Community College. Aaliyah also takes classes offered by industry leaders to stay on top of emerging trends.
Early in her career, Aaliyah worked under several high-profile senior stylists and gained valuable experience working in a luxury salon environment and with various types of hair. As a professional hairstylist Aaliyah gained an expertise in braiding and was crowned “Queen Aaliy”. @Hairbyqueenaaliy was founded on Aaliyah’s desire to offer luxury hair services to a more diverse range of clients.
In 2021, Aaliyah “Queen Aaliy” Hassan was recognized as a rising star by VoyageLA magazine. @Hairbyqueenaaliy is a salon service specializing in braiding. Aaliyah’s clients can choose between mobile or on location services in West Covina, Ca. She features a wide-ranging list of male and female styles and designs offered to adults and children (ages 10+). Her exemplary client list includes actors, models, professionals, and soon to be you.
